Is there a simple way to scale a symbol in the schematic? I mean, without re-creating the symbol in the library. Some symbols are out of proportion with other symbols and, depending on the circuit, the schematic can end up looking annoying.
Unless I missed it too, there is no way to scale a symbol in LTspice, either within the symbol editor or the schematic after you have placed it there. If you want a smaller version of a built-in symbol you will have to create it yourself as you thought. I've done this with a few symbols and store these in a User folder so that they don't get mingled with the built-in symbols.
