protect on ..all the power mosfets and output mosfet goo
d ..i dont know what else to check ..not familar with these amps ...anyone have ideas??
Hi . What class is this amp ? If class D , then it may still contain dc dc converter ,for increasing supply voltage .You should then desolder power mosfets ,belonging to amplifier itself , to be able start converter .Then if DC DC converter starts ,protect should not apper ,but there will be no sound . Then need to check amplifier itself .Also try to locate schematic or service manual ...

protection always on .See the LED indicator codes on the following manual, page 9.
DC voltage on all terminals of U9? Copy and paste the following list and fill in the blanks. If there is no blank space after the colon, add one between the colon and the numbers you enter. It makes it much easier to read.

Also , i think you need to connect line input ground to 12v ground externally with wire. This is not done inside because it would make ground loop. Most amplifiers do not function until you connect grounds, normally they get ground through rca cable and radio. But if you connecting amplifier at home, there is no radio present.
