Hi
I recently got
DC 12V 24V Digital TDA8932 35W Mono Audio Power Amplifier Board Amp Module | eBay
TDA8932 is a class d amp.
I decided to use a 12v supply for a quick test. The output is a 40 watt 12 ohm impedance speaker.
The sound is quite good to my ears but the problem is the chip and ground plane of the board is too hot to touch after just 50 or so seconds ?
Is there something obvious I am missing here. Why does this run so hot ?
Thanks
