Hello lads.
I ask you a question:
I am very attracted to the "Korea style" amplifiers produced by the TEAMPIE company.
Over the years I have observed them a lot, I have seen that they have produced small models, starting from 1500w up to large models that reach and exceed 7500w.
For some time now I have been following the latest model they produced, the 20k, which claims to deliver 20000w rms at 1ohm impedance.
I know they follow the design of the Korean manufacturers (zenon or S&I) but they produce it in China with their own materials, which really puzzles me.
If a Korean company like ZENON or S&I produces an amplifier with certain costs, and then sells them with a certain profit margin, how can TEAMPIE produce the same amplifier (or perhaps even better) at decidedly competitive prices?
For example, the 20k that I'm eyeing and would like to buy has the same design as the DC AUDIO PITBULL 20K (WITH 8 LESS OUTPUT MOSFETs), or the DEAF BONCE AAK20000 (WITH THE SAME NUMBER OF OUTPUT MOSFETs) and uses the same MOSFET driving system (IR2184 + DRIVERS TC4452 in FULL BRIDGE configuration).
I also received a video attesting to its delivery at 1ohm of real impedance of 22kw RMS in burp, which would demonstrate that this is a monstrous amplifier for the cost at which it is sold!
Do any of you have more precise information and can advise me?
I'm also posting a photo of the board.

The production is nearly always cheap only most things are sold expensive.
Today it's not a fantasy any more that all goods could be produced at low cost. Only we should get rid of rentiers and capitalists.

#2:
It is a toy compared to the 160kw that Taramps makes.

Can you be a bit more specific on what you need to know? The only question I see is about selling price. If this is Chinese made, they can sell for whatever they charge other companies. That would reduce the price by the profit margin of the Korean company.

Perry, I know the price well, because I am in private negotiation with the company, my question was, has anyone tried them yet?Can you be a bit more specific on what you need to know? to find out if they are as powerful and reliable as they say, having the (original) Korean counterpart as a reference.
For example, even if I paid little for it, I wouldn't want to end up with an amplifier that doesn't do what it says it does and that at the first serious attempt to squeeze out watts, I find the mosfets on the roof of the car.
My other big doubt is about the transformers, the amplifier resembles the DC audio Pit bull, but what makes the output of all that power possible is the fact that the transformers are able to generate it, so if they are as powerful as the " original" or less.
Do you have the 12v supply in your vehicle to get full power from the amp? It's going to need about 1800 amps of current, That's largely going to determine if you can get rated power.
Have you checked YouTube to see if there was a dyno video and opinion on this brand?

1) You're buying direct from the manufacturer. That's one less entity that needs to make a profit and deal with returns and warranties. If a Korean company like ZENON or S&I produces an amplifier with certain costs, and then sells them with a certain profit margin, how can TEAMPIE produce the same amplifier (or perhaps even better) at decidedly competitive prices?
2) They have little to no investment ($$) in the design of the board.
3) Components of dubious quality. (What the hell are TTBCON capacitors?)
4) Things, in general, cost less to produce in China because environmental protection isn't a thing and slave labor does still exist there.
5) Their build quality was quite low as of 2022. Maybe it's better now? (Doubt it but I'm a hater.)
Remember, you're buying direct form China. What are you going to do if you need warranty support? Does it even have a warranty?
Maybe it's not a big deal to ship a giant, heavy amp from Italy to China but it would cost a fortune to ship one back from here in the U.S.
Here's a question for you: what makes you think it might be better than the Korean competition?
I won't say it isn't because I don't know. What I will say is from what I have seen I have no reason to think it's even as good.
Whatever you decide to buy, I hope it works out great for you.
