Does anyone have a schematic of the TP60, v15.2? It would make troubleshooting easier for me.
My TP60 suddenly quit on me a week ago. It went off while I was listening, a little slowly (like turning the volume down quickly) as if the power had died rather than suddenly as if the amp chip had just quit. The power light was still on though, and the output relay clicked as expected when powered off/on.
Oddly, when I turned it back on to investigate today, the right channel worked but not the left. I'm sure both went dead when it first died. I've tried the obvious things like swapping the speakers and inputs around and trying the other inputs.
Shame I sold most of my electronics kit a year ago; all I have left now is a couple of good multimeters.
Edit: Typical... I spent 20 minutes searching before I asked, and I just found one now. V11, but it's probably close enough.

Did you figure out what the cause was?? I am experiencing similar issue with mine and I think its the signal relay near the volume per a user on here.
Yes - it was the output relay. Never known one to fail quite like that. It just needed the contact cleaning and it's been fine since.
Just the output (speaker protection) relays. It must have developed a sudden high resistance... very weird way to do it, killing the output completely like that. I was convinced it was a failed component. I just pried off the relay cover and cleaned the contact with a bit of paper soaked in deoxit. Instant life!

What exactly is the problem with yours - one dead channel like mine? If so, did you try using the other input to see if it was dead on that one too?
If you did, and the channel was dead on both inputs, then it's probably not the input relay that's faulty. (could be, but not likely)

I had this amp for 3-4 years and it worked flawlessly and in the last 4-6 months, I would be listening to it then the volume on the left side would fade out and only the right side would be normal... I would fade enough to disappear but still play on the left... The I would need to turn the volume knob up to get both channels normal then it would be fine for hours to days then it would do it again.... Then lately its fading from right to left as well and starting to be playing find from both channels fine then all of a sudden cutting all audio off and I would have to turn it off and on, sometimes a couple of times. The audio would come back on but sometimes only one channel...

I got six of the Toppings here, half of them failed after a couple years, even the stored backup amps do.
Most times, one channel is gone or went away, if the volume is pushed, the speaker contacts again. If it's the same for you, then the relay is the problem (99%).
Not sure to swap the Omron against others.
Just wonder if someone bridged the output relays or removed them completely and if it could be dramatic for the tweeter? 🙂
Also want to swap the 10k log. poti for a capsuled type.
Rest is nice working and I still like the Tp60s a lot as part of the miniDSP setup here.
