Hi all,
Is there a good source for toroidal transformers with an electrostatic shield between primary and secondary coils?

Portugal is in the EU, right? I know at least two manufacturers in Poland (also an EU member) who make even single toroids according to custom specs at very reasonable prices.
Best regards!
Best regards!
Airlink Transformers
An interwinding screen is a £7 extra.
Canterbury Windings Home The Audio grade are excellent.

Hopefully you will find something to suit your needs.

Are you kidding, right?🙂

Hi!
It was a great help! Thanks a lot🙂

Add Badel. I contacted them via their subsidiary at Munich, but the toroids are made in Poland.
Best regards!

Thank you all. Those references are good enough🙂
About five years ago, Badel made for me two toroids according to specs given by me: A 1 kVA power tansformer with electrostatic shielding and seven secondary windings, and a 350VA output transformer with the same core size and multiple interleavings, plate-to-plate load impedance 2k7, secondary impedances 4, 8 and 16 ohms. Shipping included, I paid about € 350 for both, which I don't think was too much.
Best regards!

The EU countries are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK. (for the moment at least).

You miss the point😉
I was asking for the Polish manufactures, not the EU countries!
This reminds me of a British TV show where the presenter tried to introduce British rock band The Who to the public:
Presenter: Where are you from?
Pete Townshend (guitarist): London.
Presenter: London - where?
Townshend: London, England.
It's in the movie The Kids Are Alright and in the related soundtrack.

It´s a rhetorical question , meant to remind you to check EU sources .... and that Poland is also an EU member 🙄
rhetorical question noun [ C ] uk /rɪˌtɒr.ɪ.kəl ˈkwes.tʃən/ us /rɪˌtɔːr.ɪ.kəl ˈkwes.tʃən/
a question, asked in order to make a statement, that does not expect an answer:
"Why do these things always happen to me?" is a rhetorical question.
No, he´s not.

We all understand that. Also, if I wouldn't like an advice I wouldn't make a thread to help me and all other users seeking for good suppliers. What are you here for anyway?

You could enquire here too:
PETRA TOROID
Very good quality and not expensive.
Apart from an electrostatic shield, also ask for maximum core excitation of 1.2T (they are experienced with low T transformers).
This will prevent some of the drawbacks of "standard" toroidal transformers.
