I am looking for tube buffer or preamp design using with 6DJ8 or maybe someone can suggest better tube for this project. Looking for very good soundstage, very low THD like 0,01% and less. Something that touches mind body and soul. I like to use one tube per channel or one tube for stereo buffer like Aum Acoustics Single Triode Tube Buffer. Can anybody point me to the right schematic to do something like this Aum tube buffer?
I am planning to use high PSRR power supply like 21 century Maida regulator for high voltage and for heaters also PSU with 100db PSRR. Balanced in and output option using some buffer or any better ideas how to solve that issue to use both balanced and unbalanced tube amp?

Bear in mind that these circuits were simulations, and for the most part have never been built.
I make a tube line/HP/preamp board (two versions, one is SE and actively loaded, the other is a WCF).
I also have 3 versions of the SE version shown in this schematic. The other two use 6N1P or 12AU7 instead of 6N3P respectively.
All have been built, used, and enjoyed for many years now.

6DJ8 will plug right in. Just change 1R and 100R both to 240R on the 6N6P section (and use a 6DJ8)

I have my own design using a 8BU11 or 6BH11 compactron tube as the only active device with very low distortion and output impedance, including 4 feedbacks loops: 2 NFB and 2 PFB. Only few components passive around it.
I built Allen Wright's FVP5 preamp (Vacuum State) and it's the best preamp I ever had. Extremely neutral and transparent.

People liked that one a lot (generated enormous heat) but the FVP5 was better.Is this schematic also available in this website vacuumstate.com? What other preamps have you tried and what tubes?
Ha ! Here is a tubecad design I did many moons ago. Not for the weak of heart ! I like the half diamond preamp. I have looked @ this design before. Very cool Stuff. I will post the pcb for it.

Here is the Tubecad grounded grid that I will build some day.. the buffer on the backside is different from the servo used above.. a little bit more ‘lean & mean’. I also attached a better CCS.. ymmv ! I need to update this design. The design shows the lt3080 configured as a CCS. I would use the LT3092 for my attempt.

The left part is the phono preamp, theFVP5 uses 2 tubes 6922/ECC88 per channel? This schematic what is on their vacuumstate.com is hard for me to understand. Do you use only the second part of the schematic?
preamp starts at the volume control in the middle.
@happyrabbit do you know what values to use when using 6DJ8 tube? Do I need to link together output and 2nd input? It is little bit confusing to me. Is it one or two tubes in this schematic? 🙄
