Today reading about the Audionet power amp HEISENBERG top line.
Iread ULA technology (Ultra Linear Amplifier) for real-time linearization of distortions.
Who can explain what is this.

Yes. It is pure commercial BS, they talk a lot but say nothing. Probably a nice amp to see and listen to, if you can afford to pay for creative text ;-)

Impressive specs, 500+/8Ω and dubble @ 4 and so @ 2.
The build up of the case is as expected.
Curious how it sounds: let's take Tchaikovsky Overture 1812, with real cannons!

Everything about that advert is exactly the stuff to run away from hurriedly. Buzzword
soup and woo, basically.
The basic specifications for noise and distortion are _excellent_ (yes, its very linear), but they go and spoil it with the 700kHz bandwidth and the ludicrously sized filter capacitance, both completely pointless (and no doubt very expensive) specmanship-driven design follys.

LOL…
150 lbs per monoblock.
All sorts of word-salad about optocouplers, capacitor-less coupling.
The word ultra while means exactly nought, in context.
As another poster posted, “undoubtedly a wonderful amplifier”, supposing one can actually afford the thing(s), and also supposing that one has equally unobtainium speakers that can faithfully handle the kilowatts of analog power.
This is one of those things where one has to wonder … how much heat is sloughed off with no signal? Having a 2,400 W capable power supply, I would imagine that quiescent power dissipation is likely significant. After all, no 'class D' was part of the reference-specification, so in the end, in the analog-amplification domain, there is going to be heat sloughing.
(… which kind of brings up a different point: even in the very best analogue amplification, can one improve upon a 50% input-to-output power efficiency at full output specification?)
(… if the answer is 'no', then can a monoblock actually output 2,100 watts into 2 Ω, continuously? I think the answer there is 'absolutely not'. It'd be lucky to output 1,100 W continuously, given its 2,400 W power supply. And it would definitely need a LOT OF FANS to keep the burned up 1,300+ W heat exiting the chassis.)
The more I think along those lines, the more I'm smelling a rat.
You know?

I agree that the power is more than we need, when I listen my system rarely pass of 4w, a friend who has listen this monster HEISENBERG say that sound are really very good but when read the ULA system... I hope to see same new exotic component as low impedance output transformer or source choke load but seem another SS amp.
Yes, that is possible actually, with a proper topology, component setup and well thought design. Not complex, but ultimately deployed to the edge....can a monoblock actually output 2,100 watts into 2 Ω, continuously?...
Save the heat of course, that's like a swift barbeque on the grill of your amp.
It surges some 10A from the mains (single channel), so for those with two ears a spacious living room with 3-phase sockets is an absolute must.
But consider a modest theatre to compare: 100 fixtures each 500 - 1000W at full for 50% of the time during the performance of the show. No one cares the global warming but do enjoy the show.
