It looks like it's a simple RP diode. It was likely a 6 amp diode.

Yes I have tons of large diodes .
I have a lot with the markings 6A
Also the diode that came out of the board location looks like the BYV20-150 found in fosgate amps .

BYV27 or BYV28? If you have the BYV28, it would work but I'd use a larger diode. All it needs to do is to conduct between B+ and ground if the amp is connected with reverse polarity. Neither the BYV or a 6A diode is likely to survive. They tend to be more, an indicator that the amp was incorrectly connected, than anything else.
