Is it possible to use the B200 in een Horn configuration?
In Klang Und Ton they use the B100(CT305) in an Horn. I am not shure if the Bass fundament is enough, so I am thinking of using the B200.
Greatings,

They might work in Schmacks horn. In my experience Low Q drivers work better but the B200 do have a high Q "and a weak motor". I have tried Goodman Axiette that has similar carachteristics and they work OK.
Thanks DrBoar for your reaction.
So an Horn should have an speaker with a Low Q.
A smacks horn is to big!

Well to work as a horn it has to be big!
A classical horn driver has a really powerful motor and a low Q say 0.15 to 0.30. I belive that you can get Hobby HiFi and also Klang & Ton german DIY loudspeaker magazines, they have various horns for 8" drivers of a more resonable size.

Hi Piet,
the B 200 is not very well suited for a back-loaded horn, as the doctor from Stockholm has mentioned. In the german HH magazine, a TL design for the B 200 is available, that should work. To have higher efficiency (the BLH will not have deeper bass, just louder) you´ll need a different driver, and the magazines the doctor has mentioned are a good source of informations here.
Groetjes!
