Wrong channel polarity, beware of small phono jack wires

Been working on small travel system. While using various cables i have with small phono jack to stereo rca connectors i noticed some have wrong polarity.
Beware!
This is convention, tip is always left channel.

This is how it should be, continuity between left and tip.

This is wrong polarity cable, tip has continuity with right channel. So i labelled it as defective.

Found many 3 pole like this over the years. Picked it up when listening to Super Session "Season of the witch" as has very distinct channel info.
