Hello.
I'm searching for nice pair of 10inch coaxials, that has built in horn mouth. Don't want cheap beta10cx, but I will do DSP so I'll accept even ripped FreqResp.
My budget is about 400USD(shipped). send me proposals if You have any.
It would be best to have one common magnet for both HF & LF.
My most hunted one is pair of 12" radian 5312neo.

My guess is that you want to stay away from Radians, certainly those with the planar ribbon HF. I had a pair that measured badly, contacted the manufacturer, who told me that it was up to their standards. Fs was double that of the specsheet, Qts way above 1 (!). Distortion profile showed buzz and rub in HF driver. Fortunately could return to TLHP (great company) but will never consider Radian again.
In stead, look at Faital Pro, Sica or PHL if you only want LF driver and add HF driver of your own preference.
fighting with myself if it's worth it to create 2.5 way : "Sica 10 cx 3 pl" in 15l + W26fx001 in 30l all in one neat "small" box driven from fusion fa123.
all are 8ohm, seas is only 86dB spl, so it might be too little. maybe better rss265ho from speakerbuddies.

Which Radians was so bad? I'm going to buy a pair 10” 10CRF6430 and now I'm confused 🙂My guess is that you want to stay away from Radians, certainly those with the planar ribbon HF. I don't know what your options are, but my Radian concentric had the same HF driver as the one you are eying. It measured poorly and sounded not as clean as some other horn drivers. Furthermore, the manufacturer, whom I sent measurements, stated to me that they considered this normal behavior. So I returned the driver.
Which 10 inch driver would be second on your list?

My second choice is FaitalPro 10HX230 and BMS 10C262 (a bit pood F3 in sealed box). Radian is interesting because of its Ribbon tweeter... I want it for home hi-fi and don't care high efficiency etc.
My first would be any single magnet which is time coherent, it's easy to use passive crossover with toobz. bass has own classD
The ribbon tweeter might be interesting but I found it lacking in performance. As to high efficiency: once you have it, you will appreciate the importance. Even when playing at domestic levels. In your situation, I would go for the Faital, but I don't have direct experience with this model. Perhaps someone else on this forum has?
Any prefered models? In my plans it will be active powered by Hypex FA253 (with DSP buld in).My first would be any single magnet which is time coherent, it's easy to use passive crossover with toobz. bass has own classD
