Nice pictures and kudos to the photographer but half of them seem to be of plantations rather than natural forests.

This is what a natural flowered forest look like IRL (taken with a old phone, one hand by riding a MTB)
I am lucky enough to live in the north west of Wales, Snowdonia, and there are areas here of virgin oak woodland, there is a lot a plantation too and I quite like the contrast. The only problem with some of the truly wild areas is that they are impenetrable physically so it's only possible to glimpse true "nature" from the periphery

Lots of nice forest around here. Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Arbutus, some Aspen.
