Richard, these were 16 Ohm units wired in parallel to present an 8 ohm load. The tweeter was an 8 Ohm unit. Rigid intended like a very low compliance suspension, and high QTS near a 0.9 figure. Not so strange, another commercial product ( EPI 500) featured a very low compliance woofer with Qts 0.9 tuned by means of two passive radiators each side of the box.

oh gosh, yes, I mixed the model in my head. Understood on the suspension.. 0.9 is high. interesting. Reading up on them later today for fun.
I actually did wonder if I might try a passive radiator on the top if I tried a single driver for the mid/bass. a not to costly experiment. I'll let this audience know how I progress. Cheers!
