Open source Waveguides for CNC & 3D printing!

A quick example of the price, not too bad IMO.

Use a professional SLA printing service and the results will be pleasing. I like JLC PCB, there are others. However it would be nice is the files were in the universal standard metric of millimetres :D

I save it as mm for you below.

Uploading the STEP files will give the correct unit/scaling, and also looks like it will bypass going through the wiremesh representation of the STL files.

Both of those files were generated at the same time, so I'm not sure why there would be a difference. And my printer didn't do anything strange with the ps version. I think your slicer is doing something odd. Do you have pics of the prints? If you unselect the non-ps version so they are both grey do you still only see lines on one?

Probably program in which you opened STEP file has changed the resolution of surfaces (triangles size). At this moment I'm preparing 3D waveguide model for CNC routing in AutoCAD and you can see how coarse or smooth surface can be. AutoCAD has FACETRES variable to define resolution, probably your printig program also has something similar.

If I would do this rough model it would have visible triangles in reality...

One saved in Inches (no ps) and one in mm (ps)

They were both generated at the same time from the same model, and both are in inches. I'll download them and look at them in my slicer, but something has gone wrong with one of your files, by the slicer or something. Looking at them in F360 just now, they look fine.
