Quite the dedicated speaker designer.

I remember selling a Audionics CC-2 amp to him thru an add I placed at the time
in the early 80,s

He showed up in a van with a single speaker he was taking around to various hiend shops getting opinions and advice for production.

He came along way since then and condolences to his family and close friends

RIP. Never met him but the VR-1 bookshelfs have now been with me for a long time.

I read somewhere that he did not think himself as an inventer but one that took ideas from others a step further, and it where easy to see where inspiration came from, but he did it very well. When he retired their speakers took a very different and less interesting direction. Rip.

i think it was a few years before he passed away, it was his son who took over the business as far as i know

The VR4 GenIIs I've had for 20 years aren't going anywhere. And yes, it is his son who is running the business now.
