Hy !
I have a car amp built around two pairs of D844 / B754 transistors and two C1815, one between each pair of output devices on the heatsink.
This amp has 4 big transformers on the output.
One channel is dead . . . . . maybe an output transistor is fried, but the other channel is still working with a problem:
When i turn the volume loud enough or i add some deep bass the output transformer starts to make a strange vibration and noise and some pops and clicks are heard loud into the speaker.
How . . . what can be the problem and how much power can i expect from this amp design ?
Thanks in advance.
