ive got an old cnc machine just been given to me, everything works fine apart from the screen an old 8inch orange mono with loads of burnt in bits, it looks like the everything is wrapping round in the bottom 3/4 inch of the screen!
got a quote of £450 plus vat exchange!! or £899 plus vat new buy.
so i thought stuff that, it may be an easy fix, just a new drive trans or some easy part swap, but with the burn im thinking is it worth it?
what im after is help with a converter circuit so i can just plug in any old computer monitor in. or a link to a site that can take me through crt monitor circuit theory and signal requirements.
