Canford Audio in the UK has a number of Ferrograph Tape Recorder Test Set RTS2's available for sale - for spares or repair at £25 each, as well as the Auxiliary (AT1) units, for either £25 or £40.

Go to their 'clearance list' - and find these half way down on page 3.

Quite a bargain - and should be easy to fix - if faulty.

John Audio thanks for tip, I went for a £25 Ferrograph RTS2 with a "defective oscillator button".
Summed up to £64 total incl shipping to Sweden.

Remains to see if it is a whole complex multi-selector switch gone broken or just the knob.
I could be lucky.

The Ferrorgraph RTS2 arrived. Looks good, possibly the button issue is eventually only that screws holding the knob(s) need some tightening.
I will run some oscillator audio monitoring on the outputs to see what comes out.
