hello I need some help I own a jl 500/1 and was doing an install with my teenage son in his first car so I was assisting.lol and when he hooked the amp up he put both the positive and negative speaker wires in the positive side of the jl audio 500/1 v1 what could I look for in the amp it comes on but no out put to sub.im getting power to it but that's all I know please help I can repair the board if I know what im looking for.
