just saw this on stereophile's website:
Joe Grado (1925–2015) | Stereophile.com
Joe Grado (1925–2015) | Stereophile.com
Saw it on FB yesterday, did not realize he was still even alive at this point. He has been out of the lime light for a long time.
As a pioneer in MC cartridges I think about his contributions to cartridge technology just about every time I play a record.
He lived a long and active life, apparently continuing to tinker until quite recently. Should the rest of us be so lucky.
R.I.P Joe Grado..

How many of us can count in only one hand the number of Grado products we've owned, or lusted after in our audio careers?
For whatever reason, I'd never visited their website - quite a heartwarming, keep in' it all in the family story - 3rd generation now. Love the factory tour with John
