Thanks for the tip. The only unit out in the wild is the pre-production one I hand assembled and is undergoing review at the moment. The photo looks like the same one I built - in fact it’s the same one based on the fingerprint of the unique rosewood grain. I suspect this photo was from a reviewer. There’s something not right here because that unit is not for sale.

I thought so as well, but wasn't too sure. And not sure how they're up for sale if they're doing the rounds for review purposes. Anyway, I have a friend who's very interested and is trying to see if he can get someone to go there on Saturday. If he does manage to get them, then I'll borrow them for a few days (he lives next door :D).

Got mine last week, definitely warm non fatiguing sound with my tube amp. From what I am hearing so far, those speakers will definitely benefit from a muscular amp with good headroom.

If you are into DIY amps, the FH9HVX is excellent. If you want a premade amp the LSA Warp-1 is superb. The HyperDrive-2 preamp will round it all off very nicely.
After connecting the lsa with tubes and SS amps, I definitely prefer the tubes sound specially if you roll some of the tubes to match this speakers sound which to me, it definitely lean toward laid back and slightly on the warm side (slightly).
