tobydog, allow me if you will.
No killing, honest.
I try and avoid stepping on ants and beetles as I walk.
It is so wonderful to have a Great Blue Heron come visit your front yard, no matter the reason.
I apologize for the misunderstanding. Humour is in my blood and sometimes it crosses paths with reality.
Rest assured the bird was not harmed. I shoot with a camera, not a firearm.
All the best.

Thanks thats all I can see now 🤣See? Even the camera is happy about itself. Mind you that is a bit of a forced smile.
Not sure which Whale , hard to tell Humpback as a guess ?Two shots with an iPhone type camera in low evening lighting.
Five bucks again to anyone who can guess what you are seeing and another five to where we might be.
People who know me are excluded as you darn well where I took those.
A further five bucks to anyone who can tell me between which two cities these were taken.
I love to go on the boat trips around Whitby Yorkshire UK, when the water temps are a little higher we get Dolphins and Minke Whales, its quite tricky taking shots from the boat especially with a long lens

Show off…good thing we’re not prone to focal length envy
My friends lens makes mine look small
His on the left cost 14k + 5k for his camera

Not nearly as good a photo as some of the amazing ones here but something different 🙂
Here is a blue tongue lizard that was in the backyard one time.
Not sure if it is the same one every time but every now and then one visits and I have to make sure the dog leaves it alone.
Last time it was a much bigger one...could have been the same one just a bit more grown up perhaps.
