RIP Peter Breuninger

Very sad news Peter has passed away only saw him a few weeks ago at Munich high end he looked in fine shape ,my thoughts are with his family.

Oh, wow, that is really sad, I hope he is in a better place now… He was one of the few that really spoke about audio honestly, I have spoken with him on the phone and that man sure tried to help me. RIP!

So sorry to hear.

I attended a few of his Philadelphia Audio Society events in the 1990s including a bus trip to a Stereophile show in NYC, where once again thanks to Peter I had previously met and listened to presentations of some notable Engineers, Designers, Manufacturers, and Reps at the show. A great guy, with such enthusiasm, he bought a lot to the audio community. I followed his magazine reviews and subscribed to his AVShowrooms YouTube channel.

He will be missed.

Peter was special. On or off camera he brought an infectious sense of wonder and joy to a room; and he truly loved all the aspects of audio; be it the most humble DIY experiment or over-the-top commercial goods.
