I recently purchased a Velodyne VA 1210 subwoofer and found the downfiring passive speaker has a foam covering that is just about destroyed. Can anyone tell me if this covering is replaceable and if so where to get the material...and what else I need for the repair. I have refoamed speakers before and am very handy, but want to be sure that I do it correctly. thanks in advance.

Hi miami!
I can't exactly tell you what to do but I know that the company decware has surrounds for sale. Link:
http://www.decware.com/newsite/repairs.html
You might find what you are looking for there. You can mail Steve Deckert (the administrator of decware) and tell him your problem. I am very sure he will help you out. You can also special order the foam on decware.
His E-Mail:
zen@decware.com
(You might need to register at decware to be able to mail him)
Hope this helps!
Kindest Regards,
Wolfgang
