Update for Elektor Crescendo Power Amplifier 1982

I have just made the Cressendo Millenium edition with some modifications. The chief modifications are
1. Used IRFP240 and IRFP9240
2. employed the traditional Negative feedback with bipolar electrolytic Caps.
3. local current limiting circuit for output devices.
I have tested with reduced voltages (30 vdc), and a small heatsink.
The sound is warm and rounded,
The output devices run warmer than comparable BJT devices.
I made the PCB in house, by toner transfer method. In the first attempt had I had parasitic oscillation that started just above 20 % output and did not die down.
The next iteration with no modification and only a new layout, did not have this issue.
If any one wants to try out the circuit, I enclose the Board layout and schematic. Do let know how it turned out. Some tweeking may be required.
The project was rendered in ORCAD 17.4
Pls Note : The current limit circuit is not added in the Layout... Cheers
