VGA box 640*480 resolution support

hi all,

i am looking for a VGA box but i live in the UK so on searching ebay.co.uk and google.co.uk i found a few affordable japanese imports

my problem is that i am using a projection panel with a resolution of 640*480

vga box number one:

claims to have an output resolution of 720 x 480 or 720x 576. my question is CAN MY PROJECTION PANEL ACCEPT THIS AS AN INPUT (but only display 640*480)?

.....or do i have to pay a lot more for a vga box which can provide an output at exactly 640*480 like this one:

pps - anyone in the uk selling an OHP or a VGA box??? i might wanna buy it

ppps - i understand that these boxes dont give as good results as using a pc to scale-up but thats not an option for me.

I bought a VGA box a while back to go inside my PJ - works like a charm on my monitor but the refresh rate it puts out doesn't suit my panel and so I haven't touched it since.

Best to check res and refresh rate of your panel before buying one!
