What is the role of R and C on the graph?

It appears to be a DC servo. The C is the servo integrator capacitor. The R sends the output of the servo into the amplifier input stage.

IC1 is a servo amplifier maintaining the DC (ie ULF) output of the amplifier at 0v.

C3 and R25 together with thetl272 creates a very low pass filter in the range of below the Hz., and though R5 it is applied to the input of the opamp. This maintain the amplifier at 0VDC at the output compensating it for temperature drift and semiconductor tolerances.
