That's great. Something you could just about conceive of making yourself, but also something that looks so labour intensive that it just wouldn't be worth it.
As a person very much at the hardware and software interface myself, I watch something like that and think that it just has to be the case that something as 'primitive' as a loudspeaker should always be supplemented by DSP to make it as perfect as possible, yet it's still very rare.Posted 6th June 2011 at 08:23 AM by CopperTop -

I am a fanatic speakers builder I visit many speakers manufacture in Europe cone manufactures i found the British @ the time was the most advance in speakers builders and certainly a speaker is like a Stradivarius if the mechanical functions electrical parameter, surround and finally tonal balance is achieve by using different types of Curves, mix ,thickness, pulp, density weight ,materiel you can create a Stradivarius Today the problem we do speakers like popcorn and the yellow shoes seller try to convince us what they sell is the best Tuning Speakers are a pieces of art. DSP just a pach
for bad speakers I remember M Warfadale in 40 use to say for is W series I Do not need any electrical parameters If is tune my W by my ears wen I do so this speakers will be the fines one He use to go to opera concert an play instrument it self so it is also a musical education to be capable read music true the the speaker and of course the source
