hypex ucd400 power supply

Hi Guys,
I'm gathering parts to built a linear power supply.
Is a 10,000uf cap sufficient for each rail ? I was also advice not
to go for 63v caps as they're too close to the recommended
operating voltage of the UCD. Is this advice true ?
My transformers ac rating is 40-0-40 volts each

You may find he has extra boards and likely you will need to understand that thread in order to achieve your goal.

The 63V caps are just barely ok, but if you want long, trouble free life for the power supply, go to 75V rated caps. Is this for a power amp?
Many use several times that capacitance for even low power amp circuits these days.
