Ready-Made Products that Contain BMR Drivers? (e.g. by Tectonic Elements, or others)
Hi
Does anyone know any ready-made speakers that contain BMR drivers?
All sizes are interesting - whether small and portable, or bigger and non-portable..
Thank you

My wife uses SoundScience QSB with her laptop. From a quick glance, it seems they have a BMR speaker. AFAIK lots of these small cube speakers use their drivers.

From what I've seen, in many small computer speakers, a Concave driver is very commonly used. From a quick glance, it seems they have a BMR speaker. AFAIK lots of these small cube speakers use their drivers.
I have not seen BMR drivers yet, until this one you gave..
Also it's hard to recognize a BMR driver in images..
Do you maybe know of other speakers that use BMR drivers inside in addition to the one you gave?
Did you ever catch this thread? http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/full-range/191853-near-full-range-bmr-balanced-mode-radiator.html
It might contain more samples of BMR's including Derek's (Overkill Audio) BMR like designs.

Wow, really expensive 🙂
The BMR Philharmonitors by Philharmonic Audio uses a BMR as its midrange. More specifically the 2.5" Tectonic BMR. Paired with a RAAL ribbon and a 7" scanspeak woofer. I've always wanted to hear them...

Looks like a cool product!
Do you maybe know of more products that are small/medium sized?
Like something you can put on a desk, near your computer

What a strange combination. A $322 ribbon with an efficiency of 92dB, paired with an $8 midrange with an efficiency of 80dB.
With ten watts of power handling, the BMR will be limited to a maximum output of just 90dB.

It will probably do a little more when filtered to the role of a mid.
