I have a question about our use of a CCS in our ZEN amps. When you look on the tube forums most of the time when they want a CCS they will usualy build a cascoded one like in this circuite with 2 DN2540's. Has anyone investigated using a cascode curent source in a ZEN type circuite. After all when we are playing music the voltage across the CCS flucuates a great deal wouldn't it be better to hold it constant ?

I still have my boards I bought from Old Colony years ago. Zen, Bride of Zen, and Bride of Son of Zen. I keep threatening to build them...
