Hello, I just did a 12hr round trip drive yesterday and bought these Aria 936. I had no reason not to believe the guy when he said they sounded great, but unfortunately I just now hooked them up and both tweeters are gone. He is working with me to find out what can be done and offered to fix them. He purchased them in July 2015.
Anyone know how to get to the tweeters? Do the rings around the woofer drivers pry out to get to the screws then access it that way? I’ll be using plastic tools to pry anything on these if that is what is needed. These are 10 out 10 cosmetically.
Thanks in advance

If they're similar to other focal tweeters, these instructions should work.
Look for two small slots on either side of the tweeter.
A special unlocking tool (supplied with the replacement tweeters) can be used as shown in the attached instructions.
In the absence of the special tool, two small screwdrivers which fit in the slots can be used to turn the tweeter 1/4 of a turn anti-clockwise in order to release the bayonet fitting.

Hello @galu, is there area on Focal’s site where they post this info? Included is a link to a closeup of the type of tweeter this 936 model has.
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

The info' comes with the replacement tweeters.
Look at the TNF tweeter in the attachment. The two small slots I mentioned are visible at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock.
It looks like they are hidden by the circular chrome trim surrounding your TNF tweeters,

It appears you have to contact a Focal retailer who will then contact Focal's after-sales service regarding replacement tweeters.Would like to get specific part number if possible

Thanks @Galu, I will make a few calls tomorrow. I hope this isn’t a nightmare like trying to get Wharfedale parts.
Good luck! The tweeters cost around $70 each. I wonder if the seller of your Arias will be willing to contribute towards their cost! The ones pictured in the attachment are probably the ones you want, as it appears that the same tweeter module is used in different Focal models.

Much appreciated Galu, do you have a pdf of the installation of that model too? Previous owner said he would cover cost for the new tweeters which is good. I think he was just as surprised as I was since he hadn't hooked them up in a while. He bought them from musicdirect and is going to contact them today. I thought about chatting up Crutchfield too to see what they say. There is a dealer about two hours south of me in FL, but will wait on contacting them until I later on.
The TNF tweeter module is common to a range of Focal loudspeakers so the installation is identical in each case.Much appreciated Galu, do you have a pdf of the installation of that model too?
In case of any doubt, the instructions come with the replacements.
Did you investigate the circular chrome trim surrounding the TNF modules? It must be removable to allow the modules to be twisted out.
I have looked at them closely just now, and it looks like the previous owner tried getting into them in the past. I see the gaps in your pic you mentioned before, however on mine, I don't see any gaps due to that chrome ring. I'm just a little cautious about doing any more prying than what has already been done. Looks like Crutchfield is out,,, they don't order replacements.... off to the next.

Yeah, the previous owner has been doing the wrong thing.
It looks like the circular chrome trim ring surrounding the tweeter module must first be prized out to allow access to those little gaps. I understand that you do not wish to damage the ring unnecessarily.
Focal intend their TNF tweeter modules to be easily replaceable - you may draw your own conclusions from that! 😉

I have the same problem with my Focal Aria tweeter 😭.
And my big problem is that my local seller says he has no tweeters in stock and he will order it sometime in the future maybe in a few months...
Where did you buy the replacement tweeters? I'm willing to buy a pair from you for double price if not more🙏🙏🙏
Hi Vadim! I didn't personally buy replacement tweeters, I was only a contributor to the thread.
It appears that Focal are very helpful, so I advise you to contact them directly:

The problem is that Fokal's website is transferring me to a local dealer (in Israel), and I have been talking to him for a long time by phone and e-mails, and he is not very cooperative. Today, after a month of waiting, he told me that the tweeters are not in stock at the global supplier and he will update when they are. And it's clear to me that he just doesn't want to make an effort for a such small amount and order them for me. It can't be that tweeters that are still in the speakers that are produced today are not in stock.Hi Vadim! I didn't personally buy replacement tweeters, I was only a contributor to the thread.

Anyway, thank you very much for your reply.
Did you or anyone ever get a replacement and if so what was the method of removal? Was it pulling the ring out as suggested? ANy part number for that tweeter? Thank so much in advance if anyone gets this...Hello, I just did a 12hr round trip drive yesterday and bought these Aria 936. Focal wants the dealers deal with the breakdown. The dealer treats with Focal. The costumer has nothing to do. As i read on a french forum you can get the warranty if possible and nothing to pay. The tweeter costs nearly 100€. For those who the dealer doesn't assist them, Say it to Focal ? It is not correct ! A dealer cannot sell a product and leave the costumer alone with its problem.
For very old product I see Focal has replacement.
