I wonder if the PM6A would work in the Moose BVR that Scott designed for the Wild Burro Audio driver or if one could be designed for it.

Hi.
Just discovered this thread and would like to provide the following plans.
They come from (3) books that were published in Germany in the early 80s. The photos are sequential according to the pages.

I actually had to look up who Rosette Stone is.
But yes, learning through immersion, that's it.

Thank you for sharing these wonderful forty-year-old drawings and photos.Hi.

I don't dare to try picking up my Fidelio 2A like I did a mere dozen years ago....
This is actually what I was referring to. But all good. 😉???

Our first loudspeaker was released in 1934 after over a decade of research and development.

I don't know what's meant by 'old school' so can't help on that front. Currently still in a hotel room sans any data but hopefully back home today; unlikely with DX3 however, without major help from the amplifier.
I think what he meant by old school was that the development of drivers is still far behind the times. Let me know if I'm wrong.
Tradition is important to them. They want to preserve the old. Many still like the sound.

I don't understand what kind of difference there is between the different series.
DX, EX, A and C.
How is Qts?
Do Lowther drivers only fit in horns?
I get the impression that they are similar to fostex.

Lowther, old school .. mmh.
I think they are highly efficient loudspeakers today as they were then. The only difference is that due to the technical possibilities, the selection is much larger today. The 'problem' is that you have to make a decision in this abundance of offers, and you like to suppress the fact that everything is just friendship with a compromise.
In addition, www and pc/mac make theoretical knowledge and marketing accessible to everyone, with the result that a general sense of insecurity can arise. Also, the knowledge about the dependence on the listening room, one's own condition and needs is sometimes given too little attention.. that was a bit of philosophy.
The important thing is that we enjoy it.
I personally like the experiment (diy).
