That's not it!
That's just the pa-30patc again, it's all over, it's not the pa-30pax.
But I just found it on the same page actually, better save it here:

Interesting! Actually, we're both right as there's two identical links, but when copy/pasted, it displays the one with the PATC Vs what I assume is an older version that Google linked me to and you found through browsing the site.

i googled into site with old version 30pax just after posting, then i read your post with new version link.
Strange how the present version doesn't have equivalent specs for power, xmax, bl etc

I looked at this speaker but went for Fane Sovereign 12-250TC instead.
I put a pair in a cabinet and they sound very good.
The Fanes frequency response is up to 17KHz.

nigelwright7557 - its amazing Fane can get nearly an octave higher than Eminence's 12LTA - - what's your overall impression of SOVEREIGN 12-250TC? - is it bright on top directly on axis? do you ever feel it needs a "helper" tweeter? how about its transient attack on percussion? masswise, it looks somewhat heavier than some 12" FR but may work well in a Kalrsonator12 or traditional K12.

I assume the 'bean counters' needed to cut costs and this was just one of the designs the marketing dept. and/or designers chose and since most of a driver's cost is in its motor system, it normally gets 'weaker'.........

I still think "TC" = "twin cone" and "AX" = coax. That replacement diaphragm for the AX would be difficult to mount in a single driver.
Agreed, these apparently are fundamentally two different drivers. In retrospect, my lumping in the difference between 'TC', 'AX' under 'motor' along with its 'weaker' BL, etc., specs was too obscure.
