Advice on Sony 3 way speakers without crossover

A cheap tweeter (20€$) costs as much as those speakers. Add 10€$ for cap&coil for HP, don't forget 10€$ for LP on the woofer ( plus the extra speaker, but that's another story).
So it's an investment of (20*2)+10+10=60€$ not counting the hours spent on makin' and thinking, but that's DIY!

I have problems with 1st order...I mean, those cheap cone tweeters have no VHF capability, and there's no way tò 'lift' the downward slope of them!
Maybe that's the reason they start with 1st order, since it tends to produce an upward tilting response? However I agree, you can have both that and a steeper slope.

Or could Ondra close of the reflex port and weigh in the last woofer to become a passive (transducer?/driver?/woofer?)
Cheers!
It can, but he needs to experiment a lot, and of course in that case the bass reflex port is closed. And bass reflex resonator has more bass than a passive membrane.

And one more thing, if he cancels the second driver, then he should experiment with the length of the bass reflex tube.
