Would anyone happen to know the approximate gain of the BA-3, when used as a front-end? I'm trying to document all of my projects before pairing them and can't locate an approximate gain for BA-3.
Thanks! 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
And... you may recall this... just in case it's harder to find in the article.

In the first article you posted, Papa Pass stated 30db, so that jives with generg's results. 🙂And... you may recall this... just in case it's harder to find in the article.

The lovely thing about it, is that you can vary it based on your needs with the change of a few resistors. 🙂

It looks like I asked the exact same question 8 years ago! (smdh) I'm just now getting around to finishing these projects. I have a B1, BA-3, Clone Note LDR attenuator and an F6 to build. I've already completed a MyRef revC that I'll most likely pair with the B1 and use the Clone Note with the BA-3 / F6 combo.
^ Nice! That will be a lot of fun and some lovely choices. We all have DIY delays. I can't remember what I did yesterday, so... Have fun with the builds!
unser Bruder generg says: 18...19 dB range..Thanks William2001. So that would be 29 to 29.5 db?
