I cannot find the Eminence in EU shops anyway. The ND350 looks really smooth: https://www.prodance.cz/protokoly/ND350+A7570.pdf
It hardly gets to 1200Hz or lower and that resonance at 1300Hz looks rather sinister.

Titanium with polymer surround sounds good to me. I think the same is in the 12XA30, which is my favorite. Beyma makes these with 2" and 1.4" exit. They use the same diaphragm. Would there be a considerable difference between those two? The 2" version is for sale locally.
The Raptor ... a 10" MTM
Note the amount of smoothing in the graphs..
-it's not what I would call a budget compression driver though, that would go to the Peerless 1" Zvu has mentioned.

The 1480A - I found a pair with the diaphragm replaced for the titanium ones. Are the Alu better?

I had the smaller 1" NSD1095N (Nitride coated Titanium though) and never thought they were harsh. They didn't measure as well as the datasheet made them look though, and I had use two notch filters to achieve a frequency response that I was happy with. I noticed Troels G used them in his big 18" 4-way and had the same roll-off of the high frequencies.
I've also been looking at the nice measurements of the Rapters lately, thinking about using the same aluminium compression driver and horn, but in a 15" 3-way.
Here are some measurements of different combinations, use google translate :
Horn_Treiberkombinationen
Hifi-Selbstbau - EighteenSound ND1460-8
I would also advise to use always 16 Ohm drivers to get the SPL output to more HIFI level, makes filtering also easier to integrate

RCF N350 and BMS4544 have some nice results there, the BMS looks actually like something I was looking for.
If I buy from Parts Express, it will add shipping, customs and VAT and then the deal is not that good anymore. Maybe if I can get someone to bring that home from US🙂
Have no clue about compression drivers, but Bwaslo member praised the Peerless compression driver he uses for his little synergy cabinet.
there are two ref, dunno if this one, but seems to glue to the Q/P asking : Test Bench: Peerless by Tymphany DFM-2544R00-08 Compression Driver | audioXpress

Or someone to buy one piece there and send it to you via regular mail.

- Best budget compression driver May 2020? Suggestions, please.
