Simonism,
I like the various wood textures in your audio corner. I though have to say that the F6 response over a 450dB (!) scale is a tad flattering. 😉 But it still does not look too bad for an inexpensive whizzered 6". Do you have any EQ applied above ~200Hz?

Fair enough IG81 - that's just the default REW presentation, so maybe it could be changed to something more granular. No, I don't own an EQ so it's as is.
No EQ, than not bad at all I'd say. The response above 1kHz is roughly withing a 10dB window. It's not rare to see much worse from pricier drivers - not that it's the only thing that counts.
Late to the party, but the high Q and large Vas mean a BIG box. 250 litres or so to get max flat, Q=1 about 30 litres (at the limit of what you could call bookshelf).
So as suggestted an aperiodic box makes sense if you cannot afford the required box volume. The receipe can be fairly simple. As big a box as you can live with and then use one of the methods to make it aperiodic.

Just finishing up a pair of pensils for home, then I'll make a start on them. Aperiodic it is. The lii's will end up at work.

Speakers polished and in position, already had 150 hours run in before this installation. Man they sound good. Tried to match the speakers next to them on a reverse look, come up pretty good. I also plan to build a nice cabinet to house everything, the reclaimed pine unit has got to go...

The drivers as pictured in post #28 are not the "freebie" units the OP received...note the T/S parameters are way way different, the Qes electrical control is strong at 0.292, and the mechanical control very minimal at 14.525, making it far more workable.

I found some measured T/S parameters for the F6 & plugged them into the simulator...the results were not good, but I knew "trouble" would be coming with a Qts of 1.32. Cone control as measured as Qes is way high at One-Point-Seven...yikes!!!
a little late on this thread now, but on the Lii site it's showing 👇 spec's nothing close to that,
so the F6 they are selling now is a completely different driver? Looks like.
