You should have more luck maybe to find Gary at HT Guide forum. I have two Subbu V3, I can give up one according the price (no real idea yet) if you can not find him or someone else US based as I am in France (shippment cost).

Yes, I live in northern California, between San Francisco and San Jose.
Figuring out what to ask is really the biggest challenge. I'm mostly interested in getting idle audio components to worthy recipients. The goal is to ask enough to scare off people who might be tempted to turn around and resell things for profit. But not so much that it seems unreasonable to a potential buyer. Not an easy calculation 🤔 .
Let me know guys on PM how much you sold yours to stay fair for the future.

hi guys,
I’ve been playing lately with a subbu v3. This is the first time i tried playing hirez files on it via spdif from a node2i.
The dac does play until 96k but will not play anything higher. The node plays fine until 192k with my holo dac. Can anyone please confirm if the subbu only plays until 96k.

According to the data sheets for the WM8804 and ES9023 it should play up to 192k. I have no subbu connected.
