I would suggest to make the holes slightly bigger, 0,15mm should be fine. Regarding your second question you can just leave 15mm from the left/right border and you should be good to go
Hello Gianluca. I will soon be ordering a Mini-Dissipante 3U chassis (330mm X 300mm) for a Neurochrome Modulus-286 stereo amplifier. I would like to have some custom CNC work done on the back panel. This would involve holes for an AC power inlet (Bulgin PF0001/28) and 2 holes for XLR connectors (Neutrik NC3FD-L-B-1). If I send you a diagram showing the positions, could you make a CAD file?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Hello Dave,
Sure thing, no problem about this.
We usually charge an extra fee if the file we receive is not in DXF or DWG format as you can see here https://diyaudiostore.com/collections/chassis-customization/products/cad-drawing-preparation-service
Otherwise I can suggest you a free and very easy to use CAD program you can use instead. Feel free to send an email to contact@diyaudiostore.com so we can continue from there and we don't go off topic here 🙂

Hello - Are DXF or DWG files available for the new monoblocks? I can't find them here or on the Modushop website. It doesn't look like the monoblocks are designed with IEC, Neutrik connectors or slotted binding post holes, so I want to add those plus a pilot light hole on the 10mm front panel for an LED.
Thanks -Glen

Hi Gianluca - The Deluxe chassis cutouts are exactly what I am looking to do. Which "drilling panel" entry do I select on the order and at what quantity, 1 or 2?Hi Glen,
Sure, I'll send them to you by PM on monday morning as soon as I am back to office. We have drilled some rear panels with the same cut-outs of the Deluxe chassis, I'll share that file with you as well so that should help you finish your project
Thank you!!
-Glen
I placed my order! I decided not to drill the LED hole on the front panel. I left notes in comments along with my diyaudio username. Thanks again! -Glen1 up to 20 holes and (2/3/4mm panel) and 1 up to 3 holes (10mm panel)
Hello all,
Apologies if this has been covered before, but a quick search didn't bring up any results. If I ordered a chassis (Dissipante and/or Pesante) with a 3mm panel, can I order a replacement 10mm panel and do a direct swap? I believe I kept the spare hardware from the chassis, if that is necessary.
Thanks,
Kellis

Hello,
I am sure this has been asked before, but I am interested in front switch on the Deluxe 4U aluminum chassis. Something similar to that on the ACA chassis front panel, of course a switch properly selected for AC voltage and current. Is it possible to customize the front panel for this?
Thanks
David

Mouser sells some very nice anti-vandal switches with 1 or 2 LED lights in them. Here is the link for the one that I bought a few months ago; https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetai...B6uO5NlYgSg==&countryCode=US¤cyCode=USDHello,

This is a great switch with red (standby) and green (on) LEDs. It fits perfectly in a 5/8" or 16mm hole.
Thanks. That is great to know. I am still deciding on a switch, one of the push button Anti-Vandal switches from TE or ESwitch that can be installed on a 10mm panel should work perfectly and is AC rated at 16A (I think the switch on the ACA chassis is a LV DC rated switch). Still working how that would effect use of the back of the front panel for mounting boards to find the best location, but should be very close to placing an order and customization request. I will send a drawing of the switch I intend to use with the order, as well as the location (dead center may impact panel utilization).I assume you are talking about this? If so, it's definitely possible to do it!
If you want a hole for a different switch feel free to send me the technical drawing for it
David
Thanks. I was thinking the same, only AC rated.Mouser sells some very nice anti-vandal switches with 1 or 2 LED lights in them.
