I like it very much, but i only want to buy one device..also it needs digital audio output....

I guess I am lucky. No audio problems with my PI. MPD on the PI with cheap $13 PCM USB DAC, MPDroid on my Nexus tablet for remote. Lacks the polish of Sonos but works and sounds great. Audiohobby.com has a very good PI MPD cookbook.
I just bought a couple of usb otg cables. I'm hoping I can attach a usb hub to it , and attach my dac + android tablet + usb external hard drive.
I can't see why it won't work?
If that won't work, how about streaming audio from a NAS to an android tablet thru to a dac.

I don't understand...
You can use android box with squeezebox media player (one device) and control it with your phone. And you have toslink and usb out to connect your dac.
Or you can try the allwinner i sent you with the link.

I have no clue what lms is. Then go for the allwinner. minitablet good looking you have it all. You could send an email to the seller asking about this lms thing.
LMS is the Logitech Media Server..
Squeeze media player app to "convert" an android box into a squeezebox needs a running server in the same network....
as i don't have any nas or raspberry pi (which i would need additionally with this setup) it does not work without LMS server.
It's not possible to install LMS on android afaik...
The same with the Allwinner tablet you advised....
but thank you for your ideas.....

as a transport
we tried it as a transport with a laptop and a meter long USB cable. my friend said it's not rubbish, but lacks the extra (no quality bass, instrument separation is not 100%).
my friend suggested to make a box. other mods, suggestions?

I just ordered a Cubieboard off eBay. It has a more powerful processor than the Pi, and some rather attractive features like built-in IR receiver, SATA port, and pins for S/PDIF and VGA outputs. It uses the same Allwinner A10 chip used in some Android TV boxes and sticks.
As for USB audio options...
C-Media USB audio devices don't sound bad, and some chips support S/PDIF output.
