Cheapest way to replace DLP bulb (osram e23h) Mitsubishi WD62525

What is the cheapest way for me to replace the bulb in my Mitsubishi WD-62525? The bulb is a OSRAM E23H bulb, which I have seen MANY references to, but no solution?

Do I have to buy the exact same bulb? or is there a cheaper alternative?

you can keep you reflector and replace a new bulb.

I will need this bulb also. For anyone that has changed these, will I need any special tools or anything else? I see people mentioning reflectors, ceramic, etc. I am new to this but have electrical experience. Just wondering what I am in for. Are there detailed instructions for this set?

Im in the exact same place here as Ty, Ive purchased three AN-XR10LP now @300.00 each! I feel there must be a way to get just the bulb minus the reflector and put it into the old reflector unit. Can Anyone help?

the lamp is 275w SHP, DC lamp,
the bulb is not easy replace, you can get other 275w SHP bulb to replace it, I have no this 275w SHP .
other cheaper bulb is 270W JYS/DC, 70% brightness as 275w SHP. but some one can not start, we are doing easy start 270W JYS/DC, but need wait.

Hey guys. I guess this is a very late reply. But I checked with tradekey and a few other places. The best I could find was a SHP270w for $300. Even those companies sell the lamps at hefty prices... How much does it really cost to make one of these lamps?

the prices of lamps have come down considerably over the last couple years.

You can get an LTI E23h from one place for like $120 bucks brand new, housing and all.
