Crossover help - Wideband + Woofers

If you finaly decided about the size of the baffle, you can simulate the tweeter on it, starting from a measured response on a known baffle.
You will be surprised how the response is bend by moving the tweeter around.
Best is to measure your actual tweeter on a baffle made from XPS foam or the like and feeding this in the simulator if things go sideways.
Usually ear hight in sitting position is prefered for the tweeter. A few degrees up and down don't matter. If you place it too low, a slight tilt will help.

Thanks,

Baffle width needs to be around 10" to allow comfortable arrangement of 8" woofers on the face of the baffle. It'll be a solid oak slab, so I'm thinking 10" wide by 50" tall basically as a starting point. Then arrangement the drivers on the face so that the planar is approximately ear level when seated in the room, and the mid and sub woofers will be below the planar.

Very best,

I'll move things around to see what looks good.
Note that driver(s), vent(s) ideally need to be at a pipe's odd harmonics, so with 'L' = internal height, 'Z' = driver and using the acoustic center of clustered drivers........

Z = (L)x ~ 0 (top), 0.217, 0.349, 0.424, 0.561

Vent offset only, depending on box HxWxD ratio: Z = (L)x ~0.651, 0.714, 0.848, 0 (bottom)

Thanks,

No longer any bass reflex, all sealed. So will just be the drivers. The internal chambers will be separate. The two sub drivers will have their own 1.5 ft^3 sealed chamber. The planar and mid woofer will be in their own chamber too.

Very best,
