My prior explanation might not be described properly.
Here's a picture of the different connection tests I have done.
FYI, the red box side is 1V8 or 3V3 from the CSR USB-SPI device itself. You can see I used 1V8 directly to SPI_EN, OR one of the different resistors used with 3V3 from the CSR device to the SPI_EN. The QCC device was always powered up with 3V3 from CSR during tests.

All 6 of my QCC3008 TWS boards will not connect to ADK or PSTools. I am able to flash erase and flash burn my backup file. Unfortunately I only made a .PSR of my working chip before it died way back when.. I believe if I made a flash dump of that one I could just flash write that to all of my boards and be on my way. The flash dump of my current chip shows 7.1MB but one of the .xuv files from @ErikDIY docs is about 14.3MB and will not flash to my boards.
I have tried different CSR USB-SPI Drivers too,
2.4.0.0
3.0.0.2
4.0.0.0

Does anyone have a dump of a QCC3031 firmware with i2s output, and good volume control? Because the one found on this forum has the volume control wrong... at idle you can't hear it but when you increase it by one step the volume goes too high. Thank you very much, I would appreciate it
I recently purchased two TinySine AudioB Plus modules for testing (link to them here), which uses the same base QCC3008 chip. I made a DIY 6pin TAG style connector for those boards. I am able to immediately connect using ADK_QCC300x.WIN.1.0.167 and PSTools with zero issue.
So, I went back to my original hardware source from the very first QCC3008 TWS board I used for initial testing, which I was able to also read/write to. I bought another board from that supplier (amazon, $15 a piece!), got it in and today I tested it. SAME RESULTS, ARGHH$%&#$*!!!! "AHI Error", cannot connect to the board. I tried my other ADK versions, again same thing..
I'm up to 8 of these QCC3008 TWS boards now, most from various vendors on AliExp, all have the same connection result errors. Does anyone have a working base firmware .XUV file that's roughly 7.1MB ?

this sounds pretty basic: I've bought one of these modules ( more exactly this type https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115897079625 ) and its working fine. I just can't figure out how to turn off the board. PIN12 is for toggling power on and off, but doesn't work. the datasheet says "NO PULL" so I tried a pullup, pulldown, active high, active low, the boards react to nothing. what am I missing?
I can use a toggle switch on the battery, but then I can't charge it when it's powered off.

GOt a bit curious: which ones are you repurposing?I’ve been told the sidetone option on the QCC 3024 is only enabled for use on phone calls. The last radio we used was based on the CSR8670 and the sidetone worked on Bluetooth connects. These are motocycle radios used for skydiving and the sidetone comes in very handy. Testing the new radio with the QCC3024 because it has Mesh but I hate to give up sidetone.
There are MANY pages to this thread! LOTS of great info! I have used the CSR8675 BT module as a receiver but never as a transmitter (master?). I would like to be able to transmit stereo audio to BT headsets or earbuds. What is the process for enabling this functionality? I have hardware that supports line inputs to the module. Thanks!
@DanH777 try using the Source project for CSR8675. For starters, use two CSR boards (official dev board if available), use source project in one and sink project in another, and try to connect those two, to study how it works, before attempting to connect a source project CSR board with other generic BT headsets/earbuds
Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and don't know these audio chips.
My mother is deaf, so I thought about buying Bluetooth earphones (including microphone) model Soundpeats engine 4.
I would like to build a device that connects via Bluetooth to these earphones and that does an audio loopback so that the audio from the microphone (of the earphones) returns amplified and equalized to my mother's ears.
I ask you if, by purchasing a CRS8645 board, it is possible to do this.
If I connect the audio output of the CRS8645 directly to the microphone input of the CRS8645, and program the chip appropriately, is it possible to amplify my mother's listening and help her hear better?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply. I've looked and can't seem to locate these projects. Can you lend a hand in pointing to them?@DanH777 try using the Source project for CSR8675. Please, help me.
By CSR8645 can you receive and transmit audio at the same time?
Is it possible to connect and use a microphone and speaker at the same time?
Thank you.

Hello,
Thanks for all these wonderfuls informations.
I am working with qcc3008 adk and I cannot make it doing what I want.
It's about Bluetooth connection.
No problem for pairing on power on, it find the last connection and connect to it automatically.
But when I go with my phone a little far, the links break, no problem for that of course, but when I go back after somme times, it doesnt automatically reconnect, I have to go in my bluetooth preference and tip on the name of the bluetooth link. Is it a way to automatically remake the connection without having to go in the phone menu?
You can find attached my Config Set Dumb File (in zip because xml seems to don't be allowed here)
Thanks a lot
Hugues

Hi, I'm also working with the qcc3008 chip but I noticed that it only connects to the smartphone. How can I connect my bluetooth earphones to the qcc3008 chip? (I would like to obtain and send analog signal from my earphones with microphone). I think I understand that the qcc3008 is set as slave in bluetooth connections. How do you set it as master?
Hi, I am trying to make custom firmware using MDE, for a QCC3031 TinySine board. I can connect to the device ande verything, but after creating the project I can't build it because of this console error:

Hello,
Can anyone help me, which ADK can be used with the CSR8311 or CSR8811 chip? I can't find any information about this anywhere.
Or is this module controlled only by HCI commands?
If someone has access to the Qualcomm website, can I ask to download all the documents for these modules?

Does anyone know if the QCC3031 can be used as a transmitter? The source will be from a 3.5mm and transmit to headphones. Are there boards better suited for this?
There's no transmitter project for
Officially only 5x and 8x series support it.QCC3031
