I screwed up guys. I’ve had this amp for a while and has been good to me. Today though I was in a rush and wasn’t paying attention and wired my power/ground backwards. I fixed the mistake but it’s in Protect. I took it apart and saw no issues. No smell, no smoke, no sign of damage. When I disconnect my LOC speaker wires the power light flickers for a fraction of a second but whenever I plug it back in, straight to protect. Did I burn my amp or am I missing something? Power and ground connections good.
Welcome to the forum!
Do you have any service manuals, schematics, etc?
Would you elaborate a bit? Are you saying that with speaker disconnected, the unit doesn't enter protect mode? LOC=?
I have no familiarity with this amp, but perhaps other members do. Provide as much detail about symptoms, details of your testing experiments as you can, etc.
Good luck!

It may be the Kicker CX1200.1 Mono Amplifier, 1200 Watt car-trunk power amp.
Being mono, it is two in two out, so it is possible to get them wrong.

I believe this should be in the Car Audio section.
