You have so much live and music experience, I only came to life yesterday... Guido's PCM63 DAC is certainly sounding better than all you are listening today full of ADC/DAC , etc. But you have somewhat the feeling to be modern so rigth in the good sense of the wind.
You make me think to all that nice people whom firered Thorsten Loesch threads and posts learning him life and electronic... Critisizing, never helping, never giving half of a pinut to others... having an agenda by provocatings others like young peeople on Tik Tok... fascinating !

Back to DBT, I believe that whatever piece of audio equipment you will listen to, in any context you will listen to it and with any "ears" you will listen to it, when you buy it and then take it home and insert it in your system it will never sound the same.
Audio is not an exact science.
