no i bought it as "powers up but as is". i mean you can use it with high contrast but it really takes away from the quality.
is there anybody on the site that can build smaller style projectors for a half decent price? i might just save up and buy a new 4000 lumen projector and new proxima 822c for 190 bucks. Complete with all carrying cases cableds ect. Do you think thats a good deal?
I will probably just put it back on ebay.

if worse comes to worse open the thing up and see if its got any ribbon cables, the chances are it has, check the clamps on them or open them then close them and see what happends, maybe this might do the trick, maybe its just a faulty conection in one of the ribbon cable clamps, just a bit of dust can cause this, if no go and asuming u have cleaned the pcb with air, then i would asume u have a faulty controller chip.
