I have a custom plywood 901 clone cabinet but no 901 drivers.
What would be a good choice to put in there. And I'd rather not plonk the $$ for the fake 901 drivers. $25 a driver X 18 is a bit rich for me. I'm inclined to block off the back side with some wood, cut the front hole bigger and put a mid and tweet and a XO in the cab and call it a day. Cheap and decent sound ... the opposite of bose's plan. which was $$$$ and crappy sound after buying a high power amp cos the eq kills the drivers mids by 18 db.
