Hello I’m looking for Suggestions and electronic advice on starting this project.
The goal is to…
-trigger the four percussion sounds from the 1970’s drum machine Of the farfisa matador-r
using midi /relay interface from a Daw to create original drum patterns
-Add in a seperate audio line out for each four percussion sound so they can be Routed through individual effects in filters To a mixing desk for panning and eq adjustment.
I shall continue posting as The project progress please any advice would appreciated.
Thankyou

-thinking to put switched audio output jacks where the green circles are to send to a mixer. not sure if It will need a divider resistor network on output
-Guessing that the analog ic switching in the Red squares or blue squares are Used for triggering the drum sound.
Not sure How and what length of time or voltage is applied to the trigger the sound. Or what pin need to connect to trigger Each percussion.
-Not sure if best option is to use Midi to trigger the drum machines trigger ic or use relay to Jump trigger connections outside of the ic.
-not sure of Durability using mechanical relays To trigger percussion sounds Via Midi
Guessing Yellow circle trimmer is bias for balancing sound mix levels.
Unsure if accent on schematic is also a percussion sound.

Yellow trimmers set the resonance, from dit to BONNNNGGGG.
Accent doubles the gain on selected beats.

Thanks,Yellow trimmers set the resonance, from dit to BONNNNGGGG.

the drum sounds need 5v +Vcc to output on red square ic at each pin 6,3, 8 drum and 6 accent.
It will be a case of working out if the midi - piano roll in the daw via relays or fet switching can Replace the job of the clock ICs Quickly enough by increasing the tempo/ lenght to replicate the drum sounds.
that would probably be the deciding factor whether the project works or not.
If it’s successful it may be simpler to design a pbc layout with more sounds In a rack enclosure.
